Charles Smith
Charles Smith, Tailor and Clothier, 65, Jamaica Street.—
Mr. Smith has been identified with the tailoring trade since he was fourteen years of age, i.e., during the past thirty-four years. Originally, he was established at 11, Union Street, but removed in 1874 to the present premises, which consists of two apartments, well laid out and adapted to his requirements. It is not an essential feature of his business to keep large stocks, his custom being principally of the bespoke order, in which line he does a very large amount of business, both locally and in the country. He keeps on an average four workmen, and turns out a very neat and well-finished job. He is an adept in the practice and modern features of his trade, and is painstaking in the execution of all work entrusted to him.
