Roche & Johnstone, Milliners, 858, Duke Street.—

    The extensive business carried on by Messrs. Roche & Johnstone presents many features of more than ordinary interest, it being well recognised as one of the oldest, as well as the best and most fashionably connected establishment in the city. The business was established by Mrs. Roche about thirty years ago at 477, Gallowgate, and was removed some two years since to the present premises.

    The handsome and attractive shop contains a comprehensive stock of goods replete with all the best features of the various lines engaged in, and embracing all kinds of ladies and children’s wearing apparel, bonnets, caps, falls, feathers, flowers, ribbons, lappets, &c., of the best materials and most fashionable styles. The extensive connection is of great influence and very old standing. The firm has long enjoyed and is fully assured of the thorough confidence of its many patrons.
