William McColl
William McColl, Family Grocer, and Tea, Wine, and Spirit Merchant, 230, Crown Place, Partick.—
The business carried on by Mr. William McColl has been established since the year 1845, and in the present premises. In addition to the tea and grocery trade, he conducts a wine and spirit business, but under one management.
His premises consist of a comer shop of very handsome appearance, and elegantly fitted up. Here may be seen a display of stock of rare excellence and value. Mr. McColl's business is almost purely a family trade, and the connection is, in all respects, first class. Mr. McColl's emporium is noted for its splendid teas, and in the spirit department we must mention his famous blend of whisky known as the “Royal Herald Blend’ which commands a large sale, and is without doubt a genuine good article.
It maybe said, in conclusion, that Mr. McColl is one of the most popular tradesmen in Partick, and is deservedly respected, both in business and in private life.
