James F. Edgar

James F. Edgar, Decorator, Paisley Road.—

    Among the important and thriving businesses in the painting and decorating trade on the South Side is that of Mr. James F. Edgar. The business is one that has been well known for some years, and was originally founded in 1871. At that time it was carried on in premises on the north side of the river, where it was located about eight years ; it was then removed to Paisley Road.

    Mr. Edgar executes many extensive and important contracts in all branches of painting and decorating, and has gained a good reputation for the admirable manner in which the work is carried out. He secured the contract for painting and decorating the exterior of the Glasgow International Exhibition buildings, and performed the work to the entire satisfaction of all concerned.
