George Easton
George Easton, Leather Merchant, 74, Carrick Street, and 76, Stevenson Street.—
It is nearly forty years since this leather merchant’s business was established by Mr. James Cowan, and conducted by him with much success up till 1878, when its present owner, Mr. George Easton, came into possession. Mr. Easton does a good local and country trade in supplying small shoemakers on wholesale terms. He is well known throughout the trade, and the good repute of the firm carries great influence with it. Under the able experience and supervision of Mr. Easton it is not likely to lose any of its influence among a widespread and valuable connection.
